Hi. I am Ramjet. OK, no, not really... my parents didn't look at their beaming baby boy and say "let's name him after a form of jet propulsion." Ramjet is the name I have chosen for myself, for a side of my personality that needs to express itself. Forcefully. Unreasonably. Loudly.
I have been involved in the video game industry for many, many years... over that time, I have seen it devolve. While the technology gets better, so many other things get worse. That's generally what I rant and rave about, although every now and then something else pisses me off. I may mention those things. I may mention nothing at all. It's my blog, and I'll do whatever the hell I like.
Oh, and by the way... These are my views. You won't change them, either by providing me with witty retorts and logical arguments, or by calling me a "fAgut n00b". I am pretty much immune to both kinds of parlay, seeing as how being a video game journalist actually gives you a thick skin.
So, I will post stuff here, if you care to read it. Doesn't bother me if you do or don't. There will be some rants that get published elsewhere (obviously some time after they have been published - editors can be dicks that way) as well as some stuff that only gets posted here. Be warned, though - the stuff that goes up here exclusively doesn't need to be censored, so it won't be. Don't come along afterwards and complain about bad language and nasty comments. They will be there. Deal with it.
